Translating in English to "long island", Dugi Otok is the seventh largest island in the Adriatic sea, located off the Dalmatian coast west of Zadar.

Dugi Otok is part of the Zadar archipelago, and you can reach it from the Gaženica ferry port with a two-hour ferry ride. The ferry arrives in Brbinj, and having a car is recommended for exploring the island. Dugi Otok makes for an ideal day trip from Zadar and its surroundings, but we strongly recommend staying longer to truly get to know it.
