The Pebble Beach Trail is off of the Martin Pond Trail from the Musky Island Road parking lot. If you start the Martin Pond trail towards the right you will see a little wooden bridge with hand rails near the very beginning. The Pebble Beach Trail starts after about 1.5km. It is well marked and extremely scenic by the waters edge.

Pebble Beach is located in Marathon in Ontario's Superior Country. This is a 1.2 mile (2kms) long pebbly/cobblestone beach on the shore of Lake Superior. This is a unique beach due to the colorful rounded stones that have been polished by the pounding waves of the lake.

Pebble Beach Pounding waves and shifting ice polish the colourful rocks that line Pebble Beach for over two kilometers. Each spring the lake modifies the display by pushing the rocks up into terraces or spreading them in an even layer, before rearranging the driftwood seating.

Tis is a super huge camping. People use golf carts as means of transportation. We stayed in the pebble beach area, with great view of Lake Ontario. Spacious camping spots, a new and very clean sanitary block (showers cost 1 $). The only negative things I can mention is that they allow power generators on this part of the camping.
