Miércoles 16 de junio y visitamos Ponta do Garajau. El motivo principal de nuestra visita fue ver la gran estatua de Christo Rei. Nos sorprendió gratamente descubrir que había más para ver y hacer aquí además de la estatua. Justo al lado de la Estatua, bajando un montón de escalones se llega al Mirador, Miradouro do Garajau.

In Ponta do Garajau you have a nice view of Funchal bay, there are parking spaces nearby and you don't have to walk very long to get to the "Cristo Rei" statue.
